**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Evening Shift **Description:** The Sterile Processing Technician II ensures safe, accurate processing and availability of surgical instruments and supplies to support high-quality patient care. This role collaborates closely with Surgery, OB, ED, and other departments. **Key Responsibilities** + Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment + Prepare instrument trays, case carts, crash carts, procedure kits, and drape packs + Perform and document sterilization monitoring (biological and chemical testing) + Identify instruments needing repair, sharpening, or replacement + Maintain inventory, par levels, and supply rotation; remove outdated or damaged items + Support operating rooms during procedures as needed + Utilize department systems (e.g., Lawson, SPM, Omnicell); serve as Super User for at least one system + Follow all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards **Qualifications** + High school diploma required + CRCST or CBSPD certification required + Basic computer and intermediate Excel skills + Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to perform physical work _Schedule and hours may vary based on departmental needs._ **Our Commitment** Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
