A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Location: Kennett Square, PA Contract Duration: 13 weeks, Contract to Hire Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Possible shift assignment: Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (post-training) Key Responsibilities: Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded preparations accurately, following master formula worksheets Ensure compliance with USP , , and guidelines and company SOPs to maintain patient safety Monitor cleaning and garbing procedures adhering to internal policies Perform calculations, document thoroughly, and operate production equipment per policies Utilize appropriate aseptic techniques and conduct quality control inspections to verify compounded medication accuracy Maintain the quality, purity, and potency of all compounded medications Stay up-to-date on new compounding methods, formulations, and technologies through continuous learning Provide assistance to dispensing personnel and counsel patients on compounded and other medications Maintain excellent attendance, which is crucial for this role Desired Qualifications: Licensed pharmacist with clinical experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding Knowledge of federal and state regulations and USP compounding standards Strong attention to detail with excellent calculation and documentation skills Ability to operate technical and computerized compounding equipment accurately Commitment to patient safety and quality assurance This critical need offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care through specialized pharmaceutical preparations.
