What You'll Do * Prepare and assist patients for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. * Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with precision and attention to radiation safety. * Administer contrast and support physicians during procedures. * Verify patient identity, review orders, and document all clinical data accurately. * Maintain aseptic technique and ensure adherence to procedural time-out standards. * Collaborate closely with your team to deliver efficient, compassionate care. Qualifications: Invasive Cardiac Tech Qualifications: * Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology (RT-R) or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS). Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: * ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS as a Cardiovascular Specialist is required. * CPR certification is required. * ACLS certification is desired upon hire. * Successful completion of ACLS certification required within orientation period. * ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Echocardiograph and Ultrasound * Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
