Role: Subject Matter Expert- Murex Location: New York( Remote) Pay rate: $80-90/hr on W2.  Introduction We are seeking a Murex Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a strategic Capital Markets initiative focused on bringing Murex vendor-supported functionality in-house. This role will be critical in bridging business and technology, providing deep Murex expertise across FX products, and supporting system design, data flows, and end-to-end implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Murex and a deep understanding of FX trading workflows and system architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications Murex Platform: 7-10 years of experience Capital Markets: 10+ years of experience Murex implementations, enhancements, or transformations: 5+ years SQL or data analysis experience Prior work experience in Banking or Financial Industry Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting Murex in a transformation or vendor transition environment Exposure to payments, FX wires, or cross-border flows Prior experience working within large financial institutions Day-to-Day Responsibilities Act as the Murex SME across FX and Capital Markets initiatives Support the transition of vendor-managed Murex functionality to in-house capabilities Collaborate with business stakeholders (trading, operations, risk) to define requirements and translate into system solutions Provide expertise on Murex architecture, configuration, and data flows Analyze and support front-to-back trade lifecycle processes (FX spot, forwards, swaps, etc.) Work closely with development teams on system enhancements, integrations, and data mapping Perform hands-on data validation, reconciliation, and system testing Own and execute end-to-end testing (unit, integration, UAT) in the absence of a dedicated QA team Support data setup, configuration, and migration activities Identify gaps between current vendor-supported functionality and future in-house state Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery Company Benefits & Culture Fast-paced, high-visibility transformation initiative Lean team with strong ownership expectations Direct interaction with both business and technology stakeholders For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
