We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The Child Watch Team Member is responsible for the safety and supervision of children while their parents are participating in on-site recreation activities/classes at Morristown Landing Recreation & Events. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Directly align with the venue's Mission Statement and Core Values Plan and execute age-appropriate activitiesClearly and effectively communicate with parents, children, and Team MembersProvide a safe and nurturing environment for children Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activitiesCommunicate with parents regarding their child's wellbeingMaintain a clean and organized childcare environmentReport all accidents, safety hazards, or conflicts to your supervisor immediatelyAdditional tasks assigned by managementTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:Previous experience working with childrenExperience and success in customer service Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skillsAction-oriented personality MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidaysExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift 20 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent noiseJob Posted by ApplicantPro
