Job Description Start Date: 11/3/2025Shift Type: VariedShift Description: 7:30a-5p hourly/clinic, night call & 24 hour call.Weekend Requirements: Yes, 24 hour call (7:30a-7:30a)On Call Requirements: Yes, night call (5p-7:30a) & 24 hour call (7:30a-7:30a)• Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required• Active CO license - Highly Preferred, Must be willing to apply for the license at acceptance. • Gastro Fellowship - Required• Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)• Site would prefer if candidate can treat IBD (Inflammatory Bowl Disease) patients. - Highly preferred to note. • Must acknowledge that candidate is aware that if the provider scopes they will perform 12-16 scopes per day - Required to note at submission. • Provider must acknowledge they understand the required job duties detailed in the details section - Required to note. • Must be available for any dates listed in job description to be considered and candidates must detail all stints they can cover through Dec 2025 - Required• Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required• Malpractice - Candidates who present with a self inquiry NPDB report at time of presentation will be placed with a higher priority over those that do not. • Clean Background - RequiredAverage callback hours: Night call: 0.3 hours; 24 hour call 4.4 hoursSchedule/Availability Requirements:• Below are the dates listed only since shifts start and end will vary.• Nov 3-10 (7:30a)• Ongoing dates will begin Jan 2026 when schedules are released. • Approximately 14 shifts per month - As the calendar fills with providers this will be limited. • Mon-Friday - 7:30a-5p - Onsite scoping with Emergency Room coverage - Hourly• Mon-Friday - 5p-7:30a - Night call • Sat-Sun - 7:30a-7:30a - 24 hour call. • Setting: Call, Scoping, Emergency Room, Inpatient, Outpatient Trauma Level III• FTE: 1.0Required Procedures: Scoping, EGD, colonoscopy, manometry, flex sigs and 24 hour PH probe.• EMR: EPICSupport Staff: MA, NP/PA, RN• Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage and a few locums who have found perm placementsCredentialing Information:• Timeframe: 60 days standard, 90 days standard with MP/background issues. • Emergency temps: 45 days
