Join a dynamic radiology team as a Radiologic Technologist in Gastonia, NC, supporting a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital with comprehensive imaging services. This 12-hour day shift role (Friday-Sunday, 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.) offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, conducting a wide range of adult and pediatric radiology exams. This contract position allows for consistent scheduling without weekend or weekday rotations and requires weekend availability. Responsibilities: Perform radiologic imaging procedures using advanced equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose units, Konica and Shimadzu portables, and GE/Siemens R/F rooms. Provide imaging services for patients from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient areas. Maintain strong communication with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Participate in a fair call rotation schedule including weekend and holiday coverage. Adhere to departmental protocols and use EPIC EMR for documentation. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current ARRT-R certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist. Confidence in clinical skills with ability to work effectively in high-acuity, fast-paced settings. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
