Duties The Wellness Counselor will provide comprehensive trauma-informed services to Pre-K through 12th grade students, parents and adults. The Wellness Counselor will support students and adults in achieving success academically, socially and emotionally. Additional responsibilities outlined in a separate job description. Qualifications A bachelor's degree or higher in education, psychology, counseling, social work or a related field is required. Salary/Benefits As per the negotiated salary schedule. Additional Notes Specifics of the position are: * 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday * Work days will follow the school calendar * Expect adjusted hours and travel as needed * Salary is based on education level and years of experience (Expected starting salary approximately $42,848) * Possess valid Illinois licensure * Must be able to successfully complete a Criminal Background Check.
