The work week runs Monday through Friday, with typical hours either from 7:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. Location assignments include three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school within the Rock Hall, MD area. Assignments may rotate among these schools to support a wide range of student needs across different age groups, from pre-kindergarten through age 21. Key responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations encompassing cognitive, social-emotional, behavioral, and adaptive assessments. Developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) when necessary. Participating actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Student Support Team (SST) meetings. Supporting counseling services, though currently no students are assigned for direct counseling through the school psychologist role. Candidates must hold Maryland certification as a school psychologist. While prior experience in the field is preferred, it is not required. The employer provides necessary technology, including a laptop, to facilitate job functions. This position offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $50 to $55.
