The positions are located in Waterbury and Hamden, offering diverse educational environments and caseloads of 20-25 students. Assignments include: A STEM magnet school in Waterbury serving grades 6-11. This school focuses on science, technology, engineering, and math, providing a stimulating academic atmosphere. An arts-focused magnet school in Hamden serving K-12, with a resource model designed to support students in various settings outside of general classrooms. Both locations serve engaged and motivated student populations outside of high-needs programs, offering a balanced and rewarding caseload. Key responsibilities include providing direct speech and language intervention, collaborating with educators across subject areas, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education plans tailored to each student's needs. The ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse age groups-from early childhood through adolescence-is essential. Qualifications & Experience Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. CCC-SLP or current CFY status accepted. Experience or interest in school-based therapy. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 students effectively. Location & Duration Positions based in Waterbury, CT (STEM school for grades 6-11) and Hamden, CT (K-12 arts school). Contract role commencing ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY).
