This position will be responsible for various medical assisting duties including checking patients in/out, triage, vital signs, patient history, EKG, injections, and using electronic health records. The Medical Assistant should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:Obtain medical history, triage patients, record vitalsPerform routine lab testingRelay physician instructions to patientsMaintain clean exam roomsComply with HIPAA privacy and security Medical Assistant (IV Infusionist) Requirements:High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), requiredMedical Assisting certification from a nationally recognized organization preferredElectrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experienceBLS through the American Heart Association requiredSkill in performing medical assistance task appropriately Benefits:Medical, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance after 45 days401K (eligible from start date, matched after 1 year)Weekly Electronic Pay To Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume for immediate consideration.
