A retail pharmacy located in Ogdensburg, NY is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role offers flexibility with both interim (3-6 months) and permanent opportunities available. Candidates open to relocating may be considered for permanent placement. Responsibilities: Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies Manage pharmacy operations to meet financial goals including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control Lead pharmacy staff by providing guidance, training, and performance reviews Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient progress for optimized therapies Maintain a clean, organized workstation and department complying with legal and company standards Engage in continuous quality improvement programs to promote patient safety Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law Qualifications & Desired Experience: Valid New York state pharmacist license Immunization certification and comfort administering all vaccines (required) Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Schedule: Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Closed Sundays This contract role provides an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership position in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment.
