A healthcare facility in Lewistown, IL seeks a skilled Imaging Technologist with expertise in computed tomography (CT) and general radiologic imaging to support patient care on a contract basis. This role involves working across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, performing a variety of imaging procedures with a focus on delivering accurate, timely results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform X-rays and CT scans following established protocols while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including brands such as GE, Philips, Carestream, and Siemens. Accurately document imaging results in the electronic medical record and manage images using PACS. Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare teams to review imaging findings for optimal patient outcomes. Adapt to floating between different clinical areas as needed. Comply with all safety and regulatory standards; participate in department orientation. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensed by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety. Current BLS/CPR certification. Prior experience with CT and general imaging is required. Familiarity with Merge-PACS, Cerner/HIS, and RIS systems preferred. Experience with GE, Philips, Carestream, and Siemens radiology equipment preferred. Work Schedule: First shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Weekend and holiday shifts required Additional Details: Workload averages approximately 100 exams daily. No IV starts or on-call duties are required. Department-specific orientation is provided. Dress code: ciel blue tops and black bottoms (scrubs supplied).
