A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead its Binghamton, NY location. This direct hire role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts totaling approximately 62 hours bi-weekly. The Pharmacy Manager will play a critical role in overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business growth through clinical programs. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the store operations team to promote associate engagement and communicate department and company strategies. Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Manage pharmacy inventory, monitor weekly sales, and order stock to meet customer demand and optimize profitability. Lead and develop pharmacy staff by providing training, coaching, and performance management. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering customer loyalty. Interact with physicians and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription issues. Maintain pharmacy security and ensure the department remains clean, organized, and compliant. Prioritize department tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls to ensure timely completion. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current, valid New York Pharmacist License. Proven leadership experience in retail pharmacy settings.
