Job Description: The Director of Occupational Therapy Programs will oversee the development management, and expansion of occupational services, with a focus on growing hand therapy programs across a specified region. Key Responsibilities Include: * Patient Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services, with a focus on maintaining clinical excellence while expanding hand therapy programs. Implement strategies for effective caseload management to optimize patient outcomes. Patient care hours should average between 32-35 hours/week in 40-hour work week (can be subject to change based upon business need). * Mentorship and Coaching: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to occupational therapists to foster professional growth and clinical excellence. Support team members in advancing their expertise, particularly in specialized hand therapy. * Program Expansion & Market Growth: Drive the strategic expansion of hand therapy programs across the Chicagoland region by developing and executing plans to penetrate new markets. Build strong referral relationships with healthcare providers and community partners to increase patient census. * Workflow Efficiencies: Implement strategies to enhance workflow efficiencies within the occupational therapy department. * Clinical Excellence: Uphold and enforce clinical excellence by ensuring adherence to best practices, industry standards, and evidence-based treatment approaches. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. * KPI Management: Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient census growth, program sustainability, referral engagement, and operational success. Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize program performance. * University & Talent Pipeline Development: Actively engage with universities to strengthen talent pipelines, increase program visibility, and attract top-tier occupational therapy professionals to support long-term growth.
