RADIOGRAPHY INSTRUCTOR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT Butler County Community College (BC3) is currently accepting applications for a nine-month, full-time tenure track Radiography Instructor in the Nursing and Allied Health Division. The instructor will begin in the Fall 2026 semester and will teach primarily at BC3 Main Campus. Courses may also be assigned at other locations for day or evening assignments to meet the required credit load, excluding Brockway. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health and the Director of the Radiography Program, the Radiography Instructor will be responsible for teaching both introductory and advanced radiographic imaging content in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Course content may include radiographic procedures, imaging principles, radiologic physics, patient care in imaging, and radiation protection. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: advising and recruiting prospective and current students; assisting in the development and enhancement of the Radiography curriculum; participating in division and college-wide committees; contributing to accreditation and program review activities; supporting student retention initiatives; and collaborating with clinical affiliates to ensure alignment of clinical and didactic instruction. Teaching assignments will be dependent on programmatic needs and instructor qualifications. Qualifications: Required: * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Radiologic Sciences, Radiologic Technology, or a related field; * Master's Degree (or in progress) from an accredited institution in Radiologic Sciences, Education, or related field; * Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT)(R); * Three years of recent clinical experience in radiography; * Experience teaching radiography content in an educational or clinical setting; * Strong oral and written communication skills; and, * Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency with educational technology. Preferred: * Experience with digital imaging systems, PACS, and advanced radiographic procedures; * Experience using learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard, Trajecsys, Microsoft Office). * Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation standards (e.g., MSCHE, ARRT, ASRT); * Teaching experience in a community college setting; and * Familiarity with instructional technologies and web-based course delivery. The lesson topic will be provided after the candidate's interview is confirmed. Salary ($46,000 - $48,000) will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
