Scientific Technician By Job Aire Group | March 3, 2026 SUMMARY: Supports engineering department in the modification and/or repair in heavy maintenance base operations at aircraft MRO's. Reports to Lead Engineer to ensure airworthiness of heavy commercial aircraft. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Assisting engineers with research and development of approved data for various avionics design modifications. * Act as a liaison to the avionics engineer. * Assist engineers in the testing of aerospace components, parts, and assembly, including work related to removing and replacing aircraft components. * Performing engineering technicians work for servicing aircraft including engineering design work associated with crankcase, cleaning screens, moving parts, and braking systems, under direct supervision by engineering personnel. EDUCATION: * Aeronautical professional technical degree * Three years' experience in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul on heavy commercial aircraft * FAA license preferred but not required for this position Please enable JavaScript in your browser to complete this form.
