Desired Qualifications Minimum Qualifications + wet lab research experience in biochemistry, protein science, molecular biology and/or cell culture. Position Purpose To assist in two research projects for grants and publications: One of the projects focuses on post-stroke recovery, is well-developed but requires new work to address reviewer comments. The second project focuses on new pharmacological targets and is in its early development. Job Duties * participate in production, purification and testing of recombinant enzymes for pharmacological studies; * participate in vitro and in vivo studies focusing on stroke neuroprotection and functional recovery; * presentation of research findings in the form of manuscripts, abstracts, and lab meeting talks for publications and grant applications.
