Description We are looking for a detail-oriented AP Analyst to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, store billings, and vendor communications. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and experience handling high-volume invoicing. Responsibilities: - Process payments and store billings in compliance with organizational policies and procedures. - Review and input invoices received through the company's systems, ensuring proper authorization for payment and billing. - Collaborate with merchandising leaders to resolve issues related to credits, pending invoices, or rejections. - Maintain daily tracking of store credit and payment requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Process manual store credits weekly and communicate these to vendors. - Work closely with the IT department to address and resolve system-related issues. - Build and maintain strong relationships with store operators and vendors by promptly addressing inquiries. - Request and follow up on vendor statements monthly to ensure payments are issued on time. - Monitor invoices on a weekly and monthly basis by vendor to maintain accurate financial records. - Assist with vendor audits and financial close processes by providing necessary documentation and support. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. - Proficiency in processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication skills to maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal teams. - Ability to troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with IT staff. - Experience in managing financial records and supporting audits. - Familiarity with vendor account research and resolution of inquiries. - Knowledge of financial policies and procedures related to payment processing.
