Job Title

A position is available for a skilled professional to serve as a School Psychologist supporting students across multiple grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This role involves working within a school environment located in East Saint Louis, IL, under a contractual agreement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop behavioral and academic interventions for students Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation on student mental health, learning difficulties, and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school setting Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Qualifications: Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a preference for those skilled in supporting middle and high school populations Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholder groups Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively Location: East Saint Louis, Illinois Benefits and Compensation: Weekly pay schedule Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage and retirement options Supportive work environment that values professional growth This contract role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and emotional well-being within a dynamic school setting.
