Performs quality control on dedicated mammography equipment and quality assurance on patient care. Assists the Radiologist in biopsy procedures.Duties include the following, other duties may be assigned: Performs mammography procedures.Assists in biopsy procedures.Opportunities to perform breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy and/or bone density studies.Performs clerical functions and computer data entry.Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education:Must have a degree from an accredited Medical Imaging programRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist, or within 6 months of hire if a new gradLicensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state in which you will practice M credentials through ARRT, or within 12 months of hireMinimum of one year working experience as a Radiographer preferredKey Words: radiologic technology, breast imaging, diagnostic imaging, X-ray, digital mammography, 3D mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, patient care, patient positioning, image acquisition, image quality, radiation safety, radiation protection, dose reduction, quality control, quality assurance Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
