NRVCS is searching for our next Family Resource Specialist to join our Early Intervention Team! The Family Resource Specialist, provides Service Coordination and/or Developmental Services to infants and toddlers participating in Early Intervention services through Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Plans, implements, and coordinates services provided to children and their families throughout their participation in the program. Participates in and supports activities of the Infant & Toddler Connection of the New River Valley in order to build collaborative relationships and to strengthen services available to families. Starting Hourly Rate: $19.69-Depending on Experience Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, special education, or a related field is required. Eligible for and obtain licensure from Virginia Department of Education in order to meet Part C personnel services requirements is required. Complete certification process to become a certified EI Service Coordinator in order to provide Service Coordination and to become a certified EI Professional in order to provide assessments and developmental services, preferred within the first year of employment.
