You will also be asked to clean and detail vehicles when needed. PDI Technician Responsibilities Include: Follow pre-delivery inspection forms on all vehicles. Install accessories when required on vehicles. Scan vehicles with WyoTech tabletsClean vehicle Conduct vehicle inspections outlined outside of the PDI form when required per vehicle. Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service's DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision. PDI Technician Qualifications and Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge of a vehicle.Basic knowledge of vehicle tools and torque specs. Knowledge/Experience with hoisting a vehicle. Ability to lift and move accessory parts, occasionally up to 100 lbs. Ability to read and understand a service manual and procedures. Ability to track and write down labor time spent and write out any issues found with vehicles. Reliable transportation.Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements Valid Driver's License with an adequate driving record. Must be at least 18 years of age.Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. PDI Technician Working Conditions and Physical Demands Include: 90% of the time, you will be standing while working on vehicles, and 10% of the time, you will be sitting while working on vehicles. This position is performed both inside a garage and outside, so weather conditions may include extreme heat and cold. This position is continually active and requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. Must frequently lift and/or move items up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
