Physician - Hematology Position Summary Full specialty physician services provided under a non-personal services arrangement in accordance with DHA and MTF requirements. Education and Experience Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with specialty training as required by the PWS. Certifications BLS/ACLS and specialty-required certifications per PWS; computer-based training not acceptable. Licensure Current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license in the State of Nevada. Board Certification Board-certified or board-eligible by an ABMS/AOA-recognized board for the specialty. Contract Worker Standard Qualifications * Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care within MTF-granted privileges. * Comply with Medical Staff Bylaws and DoD, DHA, AFMS, and Joint Commission regulations. * Diagnose and manage benign and malignant hematologic disorders using evidence-based guidelines. * Perform complete patient evaluations including history, physical examinations, and diagnostic review. * Formulate and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care regimens. * Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and laboratory tests. * Monitor treatment response and manage complications and adverse effects. * Provide emergency treatment and coordinate transfers when required. * Serve as consultant and prepare consultative reports for other providers. * Participate in on-call coverage and after-hours emergency consultation. * Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and follow-up within required timelines. * Provide clinical teaching and mentorship to trainees and staff. * Ensure compliance with TRICARE, DHA, Joint Commission, safety, and infection control standards.
