Key ResponsibilitiesThe Physician is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care within a clinical or community setting. This role includes diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. The physician ensures compliance with medical standards, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements while promoting overall patient health and well-being.Clinical CareConduct thorough physical examinations and obtain complete medical histories.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as labs, imaging, and other procedures.Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management.Prescribe medications, therapies, and lifestyle recommendations based on current clinical guidelines.Patient Interaction & EducationCommunicate diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive health strategies clearly to patients and families.Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.Promote preventive healthcare practices and offer health education tailored to patient needs.Collaboration & CoordinationWork closely with nurses, specialists, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.Refer patients to appropriate specialists and coordinate continuity of care.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records (EMR).Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical guidelines, and applicable federal and state regulations.Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.Professional DevelopmentStay updated on medical research, best practices, and advances in healthcare.Participate in continuing medical education (CME) and professional training.Skills & CompetenciesStrong clinical reasoning, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Commitment to patient safety, quality standards, and ethical medical practice.Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.QualificationsMedical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.Completion of accredited residency program.Current and unrestricted medical license.Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty preferred.Current certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS depending on specialty).Medical Examiner certification for DOT Physical required: (Currently have or must be willing to get certification)Opportunity HighlightsJoin both physicians and advanced practice providers$500,000+ income potential with flexible schedule100% outpatient position with no call responsibilitiesMonday - Friday schedule growing to full autonomy of your day2 years to partnershipCommunity HighlightsSurrounded by Tennessee's beautiful scenic nature, this charming close-knit community is a perfect place to call home.
