Our on-the-job training and team of experts mean you'll be set up for success.As a Test Cell Operator / Technician, you will have the opportunity to conduct performance testing on gas turbine engines across multiple Jet Engine platforms using specialized mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Responsibilities include performance testing of engines, installing and removing test equipment before testing and after preservation, troubleshooting engine systems, and removing/installing selected Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). You may also assist with Service After Test (SAT), borescope inspections, and engine preparation for shipment.What you'll do:Conduct performance testing on gas turbine engines across multiple Jet Engine platformsPerform inspections and operational tests on military and commercial gas turbine engines.Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace engine components to meet performance standards.Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine proper operating conditionsAssist in the preparation and de-preparation of engines for testingInspect engine components prior to installation (if needed).Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum qualityComplete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracyObserve all applicable safety practices and aviation regulationsPerform additional tasks as required to meet operational and business needsPosition Requirements: 3 years aviation maintenance experiencePhysical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).Preferred Qualifications:2-year previous test cell experience running military or commercial enginesFAA Powerplant Certification is a plus.Strong understanding of aviation regulations, manuals, and inspection procedures.Apprenticeship, formal training, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.Exceptional time management skills in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with precision.Benefits that make life better:Comprehensive Healthcare401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vestedPaid Time Off starts accruing on day oneBonus opportunitiesHealth- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsShort- & Long-Term DisabilityLife & AD&D InsuranceLearning & Training opportunitiesRaising the Standard of Excellence since 1911With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
