New Castle Community School Corporation School Psychologist (K-12) Position Summary The New Castle Community School Corporation is seeking a qualified and motivated School Psychologist to support students, staff, and families in promoting academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success. This position requires an individual who can work independently, maintain compliance with special education regulations, and effectively communicate responsibilities and requirements of the role. Qualifications / Requirements * Valid Indiana Teacher License in the appropriate content area * School Psychologist License (K-12) preferred * Candidates with a School Psychometrist or appropriate Special Education license will be considered * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and procedures Job Goal To provide comprehensive psychological services that support student learning, behavioral health, and compliance with special education requirements. The School Psychologist will collaborate with school staff and families to ensure students receive appropriate services and interventions. Performance Responsibilities / Duties * Utilize appropriate assessment and data collection methods * Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations to inform eligibility, services, and programming decisions * Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families as part of the evaluation and intervention process * Participate in problem-solving teams, case conferences, and IEP meetings * Ensure compliance with all federal and state timelines related to evaluations, reports, and meetings * Prepare clear, accurate, and timely written evaluation reports * Support staff in implementing evidence-based interventions * Maintain confidentiality and professional standards * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education Application Packet Materials Interested candidates should submit: * Letter of Interest * Resume * Valid License * Official or unofficial Transcripts * Relevant Test Scores Additional Information * Position open until filled. * Start date: To be determined. * Salary and benefits based on experience and district salary schedule.
