Foundation Medical Partners, our multi-specialty group, spans 70+ practices across southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts, providing coordinated, patient-centered care to thousands each year.About the Job:The Orthopedic Technologist supports orthopedic and sports medicine providers in the treatment of bone and joint injuries. This role focuses on applying and removing casts, splints, and braces; educating patients on injury care; and ensuring proper use and maintenance of orthopedic equipment. The technologist also assists with patient intake, discharge, and safe movement throughout the practice.What You'll Do:Apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and other orthopedic devicesEducate patients and caregivers on injury care, cast care, and use of crutches, walkers, and other DMEAdjust and maintain traction equipment and orthopedic toolsSupport orthopedic physicians, surgeons, and sports medicine providers during patient careEscort patients to exam rooms, radiology, and other departmentsPerform patient intake and discharge under provider supervisionDocument patient interactions in the electronic medical recordAdhere to HIPAA, infection control, and safety guidelinesStay current with organizational policies, EPIC workflows, and required trainingsWho You Are:Knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologySkilled in applying and removing orthopedic casts, splints, and bracesComfortable educating patients and demonstrating mobility aidsAble to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staffOrganized, efficient, and capable of managing time and resourcesExperienced with basic computer use and EMR systemsPreferred: Two years of experience as an Orthopedic Technician and familiarity with DME suppliesEducation: Completion of a 2-year college or technical training programCertification: Certified or eligible for certificationWhy You'll Love Us:• Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employees• Short-term, long-term disability, life & pet insurance• Tuition reimbursement & Nursing Student Loan Paydown Program• 403(b) retirement savings plans• Continuous earned time accrual & more!Work Shift: Mon-Friday 8am-5pmSolutionHealth is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
