The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards during assigned shifts. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shiftsEnsure delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residentsMonitor and assess resident conditions; respond to changes in clinical statusServe as clinical resource and mentor to nursing team membersCoordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers as neededEnsure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policiesCommunicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team membersEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesAssist with staffing coordination and shift assignmentsQualificationsCurrent, active RN license in good standing (state-specific)Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferredPrior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
