A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Wauchula, FL, serving the Highlands County area. This contract position runs through May 2025 with an immediate start date. Ideal candidates will bring strong expertise in school psychology to support student assessment and intervention services within the school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop effective individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and intervention strategies to promote student success Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student services Maintain detailed records and complete required documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Florida Experience working in K-12 educational environments Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention methods Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseloads effectively while prioritizing student needs Location: Wauchula, FL (Highlands County) Additional Information: Contract position lasting through May 2025 No VOCO (Vocational) services required Caseload and further details will be provided upon hire Immediate availability preferred This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on student outcomes within a supportive school environment.
