Join FOI as an MRI Technologist and receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus, paid in two installments.In this role you will:The MRI Technologist performs high quality MRI scans while delivering excellent patient care.Key Responsibilities:Perform MRI scans on patients utilizing existing radiologist devised protocols Provide excellent patient care & customer service to all patients being scannedAdminister IV contrast to MRI patients when requested by requisition/scriptAbility to work both independently and as a team-player. Must be flexible with schedulePerform Weekly ACR mandated quality control on MRI scannerAssist with image acquisition for ACR submissionsInteract with radiologists when necessary regarding protocols & special applicationsEnsure MRI scan room is safely secured from general public & non-screened employees.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Maintain ARRT License/ ARMRIT certification by adhering to CEU responsibilities.Complete Daily Totals Sheet.Initial & verify charge tickets are matched to authorization & script.All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or managerReport Statistics to MRI supervisor.Submit peer review on a monthly basis.Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic InstituteAll other duties as assigned.About You:ARRT certification or ARMRIT certification Siemens and/or Toshiba Orthopedic experience required.BLS Certification required within 90 days of employmentWe Would Love It If You Also Had:Both high & low field experience a plus!At FOI our goal is to provide our patients with world-class orthopedic care.Our mission of providing the best care encompasses not only the care the physician provides, but all medical and administrative aspects of the patients encounter with Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) as well.
