An established compounding pharmacy is seeking a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead regulatory, compliance, and quality operations at its Ohio facility. This essential leadership role requires a knowledgeable professional to ensure adherence to FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations while overseeing facility licensure and inspection readiness. The position is onsite, Monday through Friday, offering long-term stability and a path for career growth. Key Responsibilities: Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and other state licenses as required. Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, including FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy boards. Lead inspections and represent the facility during regulatory audits and meetings. Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training programs. Oversee quality assurance and control activities such as batch record review, deviations, environmental monitoring, and investigations. Manage validation efforts for equipment, systems, and processes. Administer the Quality Management System (QMS), change controls, product labeling, and annual product reviews. Supervise incoming materials, vendor qualification, and reserve sample programs. Analyze quality metrics and present findings to site and corporate leadership. Qualifications: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Minimum five years of leadership experience managing teams. Expertise in cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding. Demonstrated success leading inspections and regulatory audits. Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Licensure in multiple states preferred. Preferred: 10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries and 7+ years in quality/compliance roles with increasing responsibility. Location: Onsite in Ohio, Monday through Friday.
