American Traveler seeks a Surgical Technologist First Assistant with strong Ortho, Neuro, ENT, and Robotics experience for a hospital OR position in Daytona Beach, FL.Job Details• Hospital operating room setting with potential float to affiliated AdventHealth North facilities,• Specialties include orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, and robotic-assisted surgery,• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week,• Variable days off with a minimum of 1-2 call shifts per week,• One 24-hour weekend call shift required per month/schedule,• Call Option 1: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Call Option 2: 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM, depending on scheduling needs,• 13-week assignment,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical First Assistant,• Strong experience in orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, and robotic-assisted procedures required,• BLS certification required,• NBSTSA CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) certification required,• License required if applicable,• COVID vaccination card required for consideration,Additional Information• Assist surgeons during a variety of OR cases including orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, and robotic procedures,• During 24-hour weekend call shifts, an Assistant Nurse Manager is present during the day and a Charge Nurse is available overnight - board running and case scheduling are not required,• Hunter green scrubs required and are not provided,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as the traveler rate - no radius rule applies
