PRN Vascular Surgery NP/PA Opportunity Charlotte Metro Area # Outstanding PRN opportunity for an NP/PA to join an established and busy single specialty vascular surgery practice consisting of two vascular surgeons and five APPs.#Prior experience in vascular surgery is preferred but not required; however, prior experience with inpatient patient care is required.#This opportunity will#mostly support our#outpatient practice#in Belmont, NC, just outside of Charlotte, one of the fastest growing cities in the country. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice experiencing robust growth over the last four years.#The responsibilities of this role will involve direct patient care in the outpatient#setting,#seeing follow-up and post-op patients, but#may also include inpatient care,#such as#inpatient consults, rounds, and #first-assisting# in the operating room.##Post-op clinic# is staffed entirely by the Vascular Surgery APPs. Operative volume is typically 10-15 open vascular operations per week. Other responsibilities will include coordinating patient care with CaroMont Medical Group and#staffing the vascular surgery clinic during the week, as needed for support.#The schedule is Monday through Friday (7am-3pm or 8am-4pm, depending on assignment). Optional call coverage as needed is available for additional compensation. Call obligations include rounding, telephone calls, and serving as a first assist on emergency Vascular Surgery cases. Providers practice at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, which has 2 facilities in Gaston County. Our main campus, located in Gastonia, NC, is a 476-bed comprehensive hospital with state-of-the-art ORs and Cath labs and an active medical staff of 400 providers representing nearly all medical subspecialties including established hospitalist and intensivist programs. We also have a smaller 56-bed satellite hospital in Belmont, NC, which opened its doors to the public in January 2025.This will be an employed opportunity, offering competitive compensation.
