American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Siemens equipment proficiency for a 13-week assignment at a 599-bed acute care teaching hospital.Job Details• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 599 staffed beds,• MRI unit operating two 3-Tesla Siemens magnets (Trio and Skyra),• All neurosurgery cases are performed at this facility, requiring strong knowledge of neuro exams,• Patient population spans inpatient, outpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings,• Daily caseload of 15-25 patients per technologist,• Cerner EMR required,• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM,• On-call required, approximately 2 call shifts per month,• Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview,• No floating to sister facilities or within scope,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience,• Current BLS and ARRT (Advanced) certifications required,• FL state license required; pending state license not accepted,• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU work settings required,• Siemens MRI equipment experience required,• Cerner EMR experience required,• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required,• Strong knowledge of neuro exams including brain, perfusion, and diffusion imaging, as well as vascular exams and pre/post neurosurgery protocols,• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted),• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,• License required if applicable,Additional Information• Perform a wide range of MRI exams including neurological, vascular, and pre/post neurosurgery studies,• Must be able to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety,• Strong communication skills required,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are not accepted for this position,• Scrub colors: Navy Blue, Burgundy, or Khaki,• Parking is included,• RTO (time off) requests must be disclosed prior to offer acceptance
