An experienced Infusion Pharmacist is needed to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract assignment offers immediate coverage with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. Candidates with a strong background in home infusion and sterile compounding will thrive in this fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities: Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications Ensure compliance with USP and sterile compounding standards Provide clinical support and drug information to staff and patients Collaborate with pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance Schedule/Hours: Immediate coverage needed on April 8, April 9, and April 10 Additional coverage week of April 27-May 1 (minimum 2 days) Additional dates likely a few days each week Qualifications: Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing Recent infusion or home infusion experience required Strong sterile compounding knowledge Familiarity with USP and guidelines Ability to work independently and adapt quickly Additional Information: Not required to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) during contract assignment unless converted to permanent hire Must be willing to serve as PIC if hired permanently Temp-to-perm opportunity available This contract assignment in Greensboro offers a dynamic role for pharmacists experienced in infusion therapy and sterile preparation.
