Greenhouse Associate Position Responsibilities: Planting and cultivating of annuals, perennials and finished plantsCare and pruning of plant stockWatering, creating plant arrangements, and merchandising displaysCleaning and maintaining production and greenhouse areasUse and maintain tools and equipmentProvide world class customer serviceProperty and grounds maintenanceAssist customers with plant care and handling instructionsLabeling of plants for inventory purposesLoad and unload shipments from delivery vehiclesWork with customers to answer questions and find plantsHelp customers pack items and carry to their vehicleContribute positively to the work environmentBecoming proficient and familiar with our POS (register) systemAnswering phones and returning messagesOther duties as assignedRequirements: Age 16+Contribute to a positive work environmentPlant/Garden Knowledge - a plus! We are willing to teach and train if you are willing to learn Strong attention to detail and good organization skillsAbility to perform physical labor in various weather conditionsAbility to lift 50lbsAbility to remain active for shiftComfort with heights is a plusWe are very flexible with hours and are looking for people who are able to start February 1st. Full time and part-time positions available, from one day a week up to seven! Weekend availability is a priority.
