An established infusion pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled Director of Pharmacy to lead an experienced team and oversee operations focused on acute condition therapies. This direct hire leadership role requires expertise in sterile compounding of IV hydration, TPNs, antibiotics, with an ambition to expand into IVIG services. Location: Glendale, AZ Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Manage and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary staff including 6 pharmacists, 35 pharmacy technicians, and warehouse team members. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and quality standards across all pharmacy operations. Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) on staff recruitment, training, performance management, and scheduling to maintain operational excellence. Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring functions with stringent safety and quality protocols. Assume Pharmacist-in-Charge responsibilities as needed and support on-call requirements. Participate in continuous performance improvement initiatives and regulatory inspections. Foster a professional environment ensuring compassionate patient interactions and proactively resolve concerns. Qualifications: PharmD or equivalent Pharmacy Degree required. Active Arizona Board of Pharmacy license. Minimum 1 year supervisory experience, preferably in hospital, clinic, or home infusion pharmacy settings. In-depth knowledge of USP 797 standards and related regulatory practices. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with pharmacy software (CareTend preferred) and spreadsheets.
