Medical Technologist Full Time-80 hours per pay period Rotating day & night shifts w/ occasional weekends & holidays Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you'll perform a wide range of laboratory testing, collect and analyze specimens, and support accurate diagnosis and treatment for patients of all ages. What You'll Do: * Perform laboratory testing in hematology, chemistry, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, and EKG * Collect specimens via venipuncture, capillary puncture, and arteriopuncture * Ensure specimen integrity, patient safety, and accurate documentation * Troubleshoot testing issues and maintain quality control standards * Operate and maintain laboratory equipment * Maintain security and confidentiality of patient health information What We're Looking For: * Associate of Applied Science Degree (minimum) * Board certification required or completed within 1 year of hire * Current BCLS certification * Valid driver's license with proof of liability insurance required * Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills * Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain attention to detail * Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills Employment contingent on successful background and pre-employment screenings.
