Assists physicians with interventional ultrasound-guided procedures.Job Duties:Performs diagnostic sonographic imaging procedures.Performs quality control and quality assessment.Assists physicians with interventional procedures.Ensures the day to day operations run smoothly and issues are reported promptly.Participates in staff in-service program.Help schedules patients.Keeps area supplied and clean.Assists with orientation of new staff and students.Assists clerical area when needed.Perform HIS/RIS/PACS functions.Maintains equipment to decrease downtime and overtime expense.Participates in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.Other job duties as needed, including diagnostic images if sonographer has ARRT licenseLicenses and Certifications:American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) RequiredBLS CPR certification for healthcare providers RequiredLicense renewal must occur within two weeks of expiration date RequiredEmployee must be RVT and/or RVS and RDMS registry eligible upon hire.
