Floating Requirements none JOB DESCRIPTION CT Technologist About Facility: o 1130 Tree of Life Lane, Cornelius, NC 28031 o Licensed Beds: 35 o ED: # of beds - 8 o ICU: # of beds - 4 o Med/Tele: # of beds - 20 o Labor/Delivery: # of beds – 4 LDRs; 9 Mother Baby o No Trauma designation o Facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound and MRI imaging services o Not a Teaching Hospital o Not a Chest Pain Center o Not currently Stroke accredited o Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Department Information: o Department performs an average of 30 studies/weekday and 14 studies on weekends Outpatients are scheduled on weekends o Minimum Years of Experience required 2 years o Will you accept a first-time traveler Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Department will serve ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: o American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (R)(CT) required o BLS Skills required: o Must have Client CT experience. Ability to work in fast-paced imaging department completing routine and STAT CT exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. Ability to coordinate and prioritize exams in order of level of acuity including but not limited to Code Strokes with knowledge of post-processing exams as required.
