American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Tech - Special Procedures for a 13-week day shift assignment at an acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of interventional radiology experience and ARRT certification.Job Details• Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures department at a 336-bed acute care hospital,• Works with outpatient, inpatient, ICU, and ER patient populations, including trauma patients,• Procedures include routine and emergency interventional procedures requiring sterile technique,• EMR: Epic,• Day shift, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts per week,• No weekend or on-call requirements,• No float requirements,Job Requirements• Minimum 2 years of recent IR/Special Procedures experience,• ARRT and RT(R) certifications required,• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless documentation of scheduled renewal is provided,• License must be active at time of consideration; license required if applicable,• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted,• Must have no employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months,Additional Information• Assist radiologists and performing physicians with routine and emergency interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and sterile fields,• Responsibilities include patient positioning and immobilization, contrast material administration, obtaining informed consent when necessary, and timely image transmission to the RIC,• Performs safety checks and operates essential patient care equipment including oxygen, suction, and blood pressure monitoring devices,• Reviews physician orders, collaborates with staff and physicians, and ensures accurate data entry and documentation,• Scrub color: black,• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment,• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate and are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at the facility
