School psychologists play a critical role in NACS of being an active participant in multidisciplinary MTSS meetings in their assigned buildings, collaborating with building staff on student needs throughout the year, and working with families to understand and engage in the evaluation process when needed. As a school psychology team, they assist in ensuring Article 7 requirements are followed for our students leading up to and during the evaluation process, and work closely with other certified staff members to create supportive and inclusive learning environments.
