Job Description Location: Syracuse, New YorkPosition Type: Permanent | Physician - Hospitalist (Nocturnist)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Nocturnist Hospitalist to provide overnight inpatient care in Syracuse, NY. This opportunity offers a structured 7-on/7-off schedule (7 PM - 7 AM) within a well-established, physician-led hospitalist program.Experience is REQUIRED - No new graduates will be considered.Not accepting Locums candidates.Not accepting Visa candidates.Practice Highlights• Provide overnight inpatient care (7 PM - 7 AM)• Work a 7-on/7-off rotation with 12-hour shifts• Perform admissions and manage hospitalized patients overnight• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations• Provide closed ICU overnight rounding on Hospitalist patients• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition• Collaborate with subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams• Coordinate appropriate follow-up care arrangements upon discharge• Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR• Deliver patient-centered, high-quality inpatient care• Work within a physician-led governance structure• Be part of a respected, collegial Hospitalist team• Utilize strong clinical judgment and communication skills in acute care settingsCandidate Requirements• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - REQUIRED• NY Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED• Clean malpractice and license history - REQUIRED• Most recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) - REQUIRED at presentation (No Exemptions)• DEA required• MD or DO from an accredited medical school• Must confirm visa status at submission (Visa candidates will not be accepted)Why Syracuse, NY?Syracuse offers affordable living, excellent schools, four-season outdoor recreation, and easy access to major Northeast cities while maintaining a strong sense of community.
