The role starts as soon as possible. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. RTO parameters need to be approved by the manager. Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Emergency Department settings is required. The types of patients seen are primarily from the Emergency Department and inpatients, with a few outpatient exams possible during the day. Basic x-ray exams include chest, abdomen, and extremities. CT exams include routine head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, with more complex studies such as CT angiograms and PE studies. Experience with portable X-rays is required. X-ray procedures must include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging. The role requires interaction with a variety of patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Candidates must have experience with cataloging systems. Candidates will be required to float between departments as needed.
