Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.Minimum Requirements:Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or MRI with ARRT (MR) required.Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) required.BLS certification (AHA) required.Experience using EPIC charting system required.Experience in a Level I trauma center required.Experience with Siemens MRI equipment (Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, Espree 1.5T) preferred.Must be able to start IVs as part of clinical duties.Ability to perform a full range of MRI studies including cardiac, breast, and angiography.Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.Driver's license required at submittal. Typical posted hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.Shifts: Rotating days; weekend and holiday coverage required.Call or standby requirement: Yes.Orientation: Approximately 12 hours or one week of department-specific training; schedule flexible.Scanners on-site: 3 MRI scanners (Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, Espree 1.5T).Average studies per day: 35-40.Charting/PACS: EPIC and McKesson (transition to Merge planned).Floating: Coverage limited to MRI only; no other department float required.Location Highlights Omaha, NE offers a balance of urban amenities and outdoor access for traveling clinicians. The Old Market district is a historic downtown area with restaurants, galleries, and nightlife located within a short drive of major hospitals, and the Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is nationally recognized and situated about 5 miles from downtown. The city provides access to the Missouri River waterfront and trails along the river for biking and walking, with Lewis and Clark Landing less than 10 minutes from central Omaha. Cultural attractions include the Joslyn Art Museum and the Durham Museum, both within a 10-15 minute commute from many central neighborhoods. For outdoor recreation, Platte River and Springfield Lake are within a 30-40 minute drive, offering fishing and boating options. Omaha supports a suburban-to-urban lifestyle fit with commuter routes via I-80 and local transit options operated by Metro Transit, making daily commutes manageable for travelers.Additional Information:Assignment start: Mid-to-late June start anticipated; duration approximately 13 weeks.Guaranteed hours specified by client: 36 hours per week.Department dress code: Gray scrubs; scrubs are not provided by the facility.Radiology leadership: Supervisor and MRI Coordinator on site during the day.
