What you will be doing: In this dynamic role, you will be a critical member of the procedural team, working alongside physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Imaging & Procedural Support Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging systems during a variety of interventional procedures Ensure optimal image quality, positioning, and equipment readiness Perform image post-processing and manage PACS documentation Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards (ALARA principles) Prepare procedure rooms and verify equipment functionality prior to each case Scrub & Procedural Assistance Assist physicians during interventional and catheter-based procedures using sterile technique Prepare and manage instruments, catheters, guidewires, and procedural supplies Anticipate procedural needs and respond efficiently in critical moments Support procedural flow with strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and device selection Monitoring & Documentation Record hemodynamic data and procedural events in real time Operate and troubleshoot monitoring systems (ECG, oxygen saturation, etc.) Accurately document supplies, implants, medications, and contrast usage Communicate key findings and updates to the procedural team Patient Care & Safety Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring throughout procedures Participate in patient verification and timeout processes Collaborate with clinical teams to assess allergies, renal function, and procedural readiness Support sedation processes and respond to patient condition changes as needed Department & Operational Support Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and track equipment readiness Assist with room turnover and ensure compliance with infection control standards Perform equipment checks and coordinate service needs when required Uphold patient confidentiality while delivering compassionate, culturally competent care What you must have: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT certification (RT(R)) Current Oregon State licensure (OBMI) BLS certification; ACLS (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab Nice to have: 3+ years of IR or Cath Lab experience Experience in scrubbing and monitoring interventional procedures Advanced certifications (RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Science or Medical Imaging Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Other Information: Why Join This Team Work at the forefront of advanced diagnostic and interventional care Be part of a highly collaborative and supportive clinical environment Expand your technical skills across imaging, monitoring, and procedural roles Make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes every day Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.
