Schedule Day Shift: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) 15-week contract No guarantee of hours Arrive Thursday prior to assignment start for pre-placement health appointment Role Duties Provide continuous airway management for diverse patient groups Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilator therapies Collaborate with physicians; participate in CPR; perform comprehensive respiratory care Utilize computerized charting, PB 980 & PB 840 ventilators, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent, and Pyxis medication management systems Desired Qualifications Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a similar setting (not a first assignment) Proficiency across adult, pediatric, and neonatal care Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS and NRP preferred) Active State of Hawaii respiratory therapist license, or proof of application if not currently licensed in HI Proof of influenza vaccination or facility-approved exemption Exciting Benefits Tax-advantaged stipends to maximize your take-home pay while traveling Premium compensation and travel assistance Comprehensive healthcare benefits and 401(k) plans for long-term security Job stability, with new skills and experience to boost your future prospects If you're ready to build your professional network, grow your clinical repertoire, and experience life on the Big Island, apply now for this rewarding respiratory position!
