A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-27 school year in Westville, IL, with an expected start date around August 18, 2026, and an end date approximately June 4, 2027. This contract role offers a 35-hour workweek and involves serving students at either the 7th-8th junior high level or K-4 elementary level. Key Responsibilities: Conduct special education evaluations and complete assessments in compliance with IDEA and Illinois regulations Manage MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) processes and timelines efficiently Facilitate manifestation determination reviews, domain meetings, educational decision conferences (EDCs), and annual reviews (ARs) Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, and Data Systems (DS) related tasks Utilize assessment tools such as Q-global and FastBridge to support student evaluation and progress tracking Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to promote effective student support services Desired Qualifications and Experience: Strong knowledge of IDEA, Illinois special education rules, and timelines Experience with MTSS frameworks and special education evaluation procedures Proficiency in assessment platforms including Q-global and FastBridge, as well as Google Docs for documentation and reporting Ability to efficiently schedule and coordinate various meetings and reviews involving multidisciplinary teams Previous experience working within school systems as a psychologist is preferred Location: Westville, Illinois This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute expertise in school psychology within a supportive educational environment focused on student success.
