Urgent need for experienced per diem pharmacists to support a busy retail pharmacy team in multiple Northern California locations. We are seeking 5-7 qualified pharmacists to provide flexible coverage in Sacramento, the Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California areas such as Redding and Chico. This per diem role offers the opportunity to supplement part-time work with additional shifts. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail setting Manage pharmacy operations, including opening and closing procedures Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate dispensing and patient safety Utilize pharmacy software systems to manage prescriptions and inventory efficiently Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience Experience with opening and closing pharmacies and managing technicians is highly preferred Familiarity with McKesson's Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 (Cardinal Health) software a plus Willingness to travel and commute within the assigned region(s) Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent patient care Location: Per diem positions available across Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California (Redding, Chico) Additional Details: On average, 1-2 shifts requested per week Mileage reimbursement available for travel over 30 miles one way Must submit updated resume, skills checklist, and one retail manager reference This per diem role is ideal for pharmacists currently working part-time who seek additional work opportunities.
